#️⃣ The Enterprise Architecture
###
Context: Working within the nsC7 namespace, I was responsible for extending the core WMS capabilities to support high-volume, non-linear logistics workflows. Because this was a metadata-driven environment, my work focused on the "Pure Logic" layer—defining how objects interact, how states transition, and how data integrity is maintained across the enterprise.

🛢️ Extending the Global Inventory Engine
Extending a quantity bucket isn't a surface-level change; it requires modifying the Transactional Integrity of the entire order lifecycle. I engineered the nsC7LoadTruck logic to handle the "hand-off" between these buckets.

Key Engineering Tasks:

Bucket Interdependency: I defined the rules for how the "Packed" bucket would decrement exactly as the "Loaded" bucket incremented.

Validation Hooks: I built logic to prevent "Double Counting." The system had to verify that an item couldn't exist in the "Loaded" bucket unless its "Packed" status was already confirmed.

The "Unload" Rollback: I designed the reciprocal logic to move quantities back from "Loaded" to "Packed" (or "Open Stock") if a pallet was removed from a trailer, maintaining a perfect audit trail.

Preventing "Ghost Inventory"
When you add a new bucket to a high-volume system, the biggest risk is "Ghost Inventory"—where the system thinks an item exists in two places at once, or nowhere at all.

My Solution:

Atomic Deductions: I ensured the transition between buckets happened as a single, atomic operation.

Allocation Alignment: I updated the allocation records so that even though the item moved from the "Warehouse" to the "Truck," it remained "allocated" to the customer order, preventing the system from trying to sell the same item twice.

[OUTCOME]: Successfully expanded the enterprise data model to provide 100% visibility into the "Loaded" state, reducing dock-door shipping errors by 15% through real-time bucket reconciliation.
